Ibogaine HCL

Ibogaine HCl is a salt extracted from the root barks of the iboga plant, It is composed of at least 98% ibogaine alkaloid, the most active alkaloid in iboga root barks with antiaddictive properties.

Its CAS Number is 5934-55-4, and 83-74-9 for the free base. Its chemical formula is C20H26N2O·ClH, with a molecular weight of 346.89, with a boiling point of 285°C.

Ibogaine HCl physically is a white salt , and it’s mostly ingested orally during treatment.

It should be stored in tightly sealed glass containers and kept in a cool and dry place. Do not expose to UV.

Popularized by american pharmacologist Howard Lotsof, who experimented with iboga in 1962 and found out that it completely wiped out his addiction, he had further clinical trials in the 1980s, where he completely cured opioid addiction in 7 other addicts.
